DC Offroad presents
OFFROAD ENGAGED
A training and touring day
Are you just getting to know your 4×4?
Do you want to come out and just hone your skills with advice from local Wheeling Wisely trainers?
Join us at the Stave Lake Motorsport Park for an easy day to help you feel more comfortable off-road.
On-site training will take place for the first half of the day in the training area, then participants will be taken for guided local wheeling for the second half of the day.
A new post will be created each month on the
DC Offroad Facebook page, where interested participants can sign up and send an e-transfer to reserve their space.
More details TBA.
The park is operated entirely by volunteers and has a few rules that will be strictly enforced; please respect those who are giving of their time to make this possible:
- Only registered participants in the park during these times.
- Gates will be locked once the registered participants leave for the trail run portion.
- No pets in the park unless they’re inside your vehicle.
- No kids in the park unless they’re inside your vehicle.
- No camping, campfires, or open alcohol in the park.
- Vehicles must be fully insured for street use.
- The road through the park leads to the Sayres Lake group campground and must always remain unobstructed.
- If you’re stopping to take a break inside the park, please park along the log section, allowing room for vehicles to pass
- If you’re just stopping to watch, please park outside the gate along the FSR, being sure not to block the road.
- There will be continuing construction within the park; please be mindful of moving equipment and changing conditions.
