“SEND IT” A Stave West Training and Tour day

THe first Saturday of every month, starting SATURDAY April 5, 2025, get to know and operate your SXS / UTVs and ATVs and check out some of the Stave West area trails

Come out add to your skills and learn from experienced operators in the Motorsport park and training area and do some local stave west riding
Each day is tailored, depending on persons experience levels signed up some days will have more touring, less training
First 1/2 of the day is in the training area starting with the discussion portion including:

• Machine orientation
• Riding Gear and equipment
• Pre ride preparation
• Tire pressures
• Machine operation
• Basic recovery techniques
• Basic Winch recovery

Then we saddle up for coached physical machine operation in the entire training area including:

• Pylon practice
• Figure 8 practice
• Recovery practice
• Winch recovery
• Log bridge crossing
• Log crossing
• Rock riding
• Riding on angles
• Hillside climbing ( various degrees)
• Obstacle riding
• Ditch crossings

We take a break (bring your own lunch) and then some local riding for the last 1/2 of the day outside of the training area with everyone

This day is open to all experience levels, each day is custom tailored to individuals attending and their machines

Bring what you have for recovery gear or just your selves and legal riding gear with your machine

Yes a helmet is mandatory for this day eye protection is highly recommended if your machine does not have a windshield as there will be riding on the forestry service roads

Yes you can have a passenger with you in sxs /utv

12 paid spots maximum
Cost for the day is 150$ per SxS/UTV/ATV and operator (SXS/UTV passenger is no charge). As a non profit organization, all funds go towards Training, Operating, Maintaining, Building and Improving the Facilities

E-transfer of $150 to Dcoffroad@shaw.ca reserves your spot
All spots must be prepaid ahead of training date.

Please include your full name, SxS/UTV/ATV type name and phone number in your e-transfer memo area
10am meet and greet at the training area fill out Waivers (waiver can be emailed to you ahead of time. If you wish to fill it out at home ) and the training begins when everybody is unloaded and ready about 10:30 am
There is room for parking inside and outside training area if you wish to unload at the training area
